Tammy Lee Allen of Henderson, MD passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020. She was 51. Tammy was born August 14, 1968 the daughter of Jack Kurtz and the late Sharon “Rampmeyer” Kurtz. She attended North Caroline High School. Tammy became a mother early in her life before she started her own day care business. Throughout her entire life, Tammy has always put the needs of others first above her own. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Allison. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lee Allen of Hederson, MD, daughter, Brandi Barr (Randy) of Marydel, MD, son, John Allen (Bree) of Henderson, MD, her father, Jack Kurtz (Cathy) of Smyrna, DE, six grandchildren, Nathan Barr, Karissa Barr, Kayleigh Barr, Kendall Barr all of Marydel, MD, Aiden Allen, Aili Allen both of Henderson, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at The Marydel Fire company July 12, 2020 from 1-4 In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to assist the family with final expenses c/o Brandi Barr P.O.
