Robert Lee Tyree

January 25, 1941 - January 27, 2022

Robert Lee Tyree, 81 of Felton, Delaware passed away on January 27, 2022, at Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Shirley of 51 years, their daughter Bobbi and son-in-law Andy, 3 sons (Chuck, Richard, and Bobby) and his pride and joy---granddaughter Abby. Bob will be remembered for his kind heart, positive outlook on life, and having an infectious smile. He proudly served this great country in the US Army defending our rights for freedom. He had a strong work ethic and provided well for his family even at times having to make sacrifices himself. Bob worked for Ryder Transportation for 33 years as a diesel mechanic and was able to enjoy retirement for 19 years. During retirement, he especially enjoyed Steamboat Landing Campground (SBL) where he loved spending time with his many friends socializing, driving around on his golf cart, and drinking his beer. We will have his celebration of life at SBL in May. Friends and family will be contacted with details of his party. Bob will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
