Robert Cecil Medlar

October 24, 1928 - December 23, 2016

Robert “Bob” Cecil Medlar, 88, of Stevensville, passed away on December 23,. Mr. Medlar was born on October 24, 1928 in Binghamton, NY to the late Ronald and Ermitta Vance Medlar and worked as a welder at the Naval Service Warfare Center in White Oak, Maryland. He is preceded in death by his first wife Claire Louise Gates-Alsip. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Flanagan, sons Robert Medlar and his wife Donna of Port Charlotte, FL, Laren Medlar and his wife Martha of Liberty NC, daughters Judy Jung and her husband Lloyd of Elcerrito, CA Tina Coxen-Walshaw and her husband Randy Fouché of Derwood, MD, stepdaughter Katherine Snook and her husband Larry of Bowie, MD, brother Earl Medlar of NY, sister Caroline Molman of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren Andrew, Carrie, Carlene, Jason, Jonathan, Jennifer, Nathan and Aaron as well as four great grandchildren Jordan, Mackenzie, Trinity and Bryce. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28th in the chapel of the Derwood Bible Church in Derwood, MD at 11:30 am with interment to follow at the Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville, MD.
