Madeline Alice Clough

April 3, 1921 - April 12, 2022

Madeline Alice Clough, formerly of Greensboro passed away on April 12, 2022. She was 101. She was born on April 3, 1921, in Patterson, NJ. Shortly after World War II Madeline married the love of her life, James “Jim” Clough”. Madeline worked as an office manager and account for Pet Milk and as an office manager for Racz. After retirement Jim and Madeline delivered Blue Iris flowers together. Madeline and Jim were very active in A.A.; together they worked with the Denton chapter of both A.A. and Alnon. After Jim’s death, Madeline continued to volunteer with both organizations. She was an active member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, volunteering on the financial committee. Madeline is survived by her son, Charles “Herb” Clough; close friends, Sally and Les Taylor, Jackie Pinder, and Lillian Heverin; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, parents and sister, Katherine Englehart. A service will be held graveside service will be held at the Greensboro Cemetery on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 11am Online condolences may be made at www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com
