Roxanne Hill

Roxanne Hill of Denton MD, passed away on February 10, 2025, at The University of Maryland Medical Center at Easton. Roxanne was born on December 21, 1968, to Harvey Samuel Hill Sr. and Henrietta “Magness” Hill in Easton, MD. She attended North Caroline High School until the 11th grade and then began her career at Royal Farms in Denton, MD, where she worked for many years. Following that, she joined I. M. S. and helped her godfather, Louis Nichols, with lawn care. Roxanne also spent time working at the Easton Bowling Alley, eventually launching her own business, A. R. C. Satellite in Denton, before concluding her career at Hanover Foods. She had a passion for cooking, baking, bowling, beach outings, shopping, dancing, playing bingo, using coloring books, and attending church. Roxanne effortlessly made friends wherever she went and had a heart of gold, always caring for those around her. She cherished time spent with family and friends, was a member of the Easton Bowling League, and generously volunteered her time to help others. Additionally, she held a special fondness for The Baltimore Ravens. Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Hill Sr. and Henrietta “Magness” Hill, one brother, Larry Hill, one sister, Loretta Galloway, and her godfather Louis Nicholas She is survived by her daughter, Christine Tracy (Vincent Boggus) of Hillsboro, MD, along with three sons: Harvard Tracy (Tiffany Gardner) of Greensboro, Douglas Tracy of Denton, MD, and Raymond Pearson of Denton, MD. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Harvey Hill Jr. of Denton, MD, and her sister, Joanne Thomas (Tommy) of Greensboro, MD. Roxanne leaves behind a cherished legacy that includes four grandchildren: Alivia Tracy, Emmaliegh Tracy, Shelby Tracy, and Samantha Tracy, as well as two great-grandchildren, Braydon Roberts and Joey Roberts. She will also be missed by her beloved dog, Raven. A visitation is scheduled for February 21, from 1 to 3 PM at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro, MD. This will be followed by a celebration of life at the Ridgely Fire Hall in Ridgely, MD, starting at 4 PM.
